Probably a good idea. Just now on CNN some talking head had Wolf Blitzer convinced we could put a "No Fly Zone" over Kyiv.

He is saying that Putin made a mockery of Biden.  And he did.  Nothing wrong with not underestimating your enemy.  I think many of you did that in 2016.

Biden seems to know what to do in this case. He was very clear, we will not get into a shooting war with Russia because it's global suicide to play Russian Roulette with five shots in the six shooter.

Of course, a handful of the armchair generals in this thread seem to know better. They want to purge Russia from the Security Council and pretend that Russia isn't in fact a global superpower.

I grew up with a bunch of them. I'm taking this personally.

I think there are enough of them in Western Canada and Ontario that everyone has connections. I taught with a couple of them. One guy taught kids, none of whom were Urainian, to make Ukrainian Easter eggs. Our school was so multi-cultural it might be Chinese, Indian, Italian, South African sitting around doing it.
