Drove the Q. Yup, it goes fast, but my wife is actually a commuter, and we liked the ride, comfort and appearance of the Hyundai Ionic 5 much better.
The controls are easier to understand, you get a heads up display instead of looking to the center dash for everything. Range, interior lighting controls and a bunch of options kept my teenaged son merrily poking through subroutines. The self parking was eerily efficient, both parallel parking and backing in or out of tight spaces from outside the car. That’ll make narrow parking around Xmas much easier.
The Y was stiff, sterile but had great storage. But the screen needed to be reset during our test drive. We didn’t like it, and are giving the Korean brand a go.
