Alright, 568 gets the great start, that's Bill Blank, 450 just behind. Simon had a good one on 592 but had to tack away and had a slow tack, with 497 right next to him. Fu (500) had a hard one and got killed, they're way off to the right now. We're headed to the top mark...

Bill Blank and Steve Kopf (with our pal and 470 olympian Michael Miller on tactics) are fighting for the lead right now, seems like more breeze here on the left but more current as well...

She'll have no problem panning out

Zoom on the PC then crop, post

(Why am I telling these things ???)

I mean borrow a 100-400mm Lens and get in tight

If you get to San Diego again

I'll give you a Sweet deal on a 28-200mm lens

I'm loading a bunch of pics right now, will take a few, but we're going to chill at the top mark so we can get the roundings and action for the other boats on the course. This wind is really fluky, down about 3 or 4 now, and the wind has gone back to due South...

Okay, J/24's are rounding - here are the numbers:

1) 3145 -

2) 2260 - Sling Blade

3) 2215- Sea Plane

4) 1600 - My Heine (which is good, cause that's what we're drinkin)

5) Cold Feet

6) 3004 - Classic

7) 443 - Plan B

8) 3492 - Footloose

9) 2349 - Latte

10) SHort bus - 3971

Collision amongst three boats after that, including 3785, who might've caused it all - (Loosey Goosey) but i didn't really witness it (in case someone was asking)

CLEAN, if you get close enough to my guys at the end of the race, AND they are going to race again, could you let them know that they should be using the new BLACK reacher downwind, thanks man.....ehh, that might be too much to ask.
Outside assistance, Nate? B)

melges' are back up, with a litttle shake up at the top

1) 450 - Spray, Lucas, just had a terrible hoist but they're in first,

2) Blur, Steve Kopf in second

3) Brilliant - Blank

The J/80's are mixed in here, with Outrageous in first, and with 829 and 840

Next Melges is

4) 136

5) 626 - Wireless

6) Team Gill

7) 274 Big Sky

8) 245 Riot Act

9) Fu is holding hard

10) 687 Fire Water

The rest of the J/80s are here, Angry Chameleon, then 173. Then the S2 7.9 is coming around too. It's sort of silly that the Melges are racing with these slow boats, but certainly make it more fun...

I think this will be the last race of the day, but we're here for the finish. Sorry Nate, they're using the other kite...

J/24 3145 is way out front again, I think that's Rossi Milev, but I could be VERy wrong - isn't J/24 Nationals this weekend?

Mer's camera battery just died. Good thing she took a hundred pictures in the last 30 minutes.

Cowboy just called in, looks like Savasana got the first race, and Convexity the second in the 105s. I'm sure yachtscoring has them by now.
