It's always permissible, but if you are looking to judge speed, you probably shouldn't look at results that reflect shattered sails or stripped sheets or other things that cost many minutes on the course. I'm guessing you will need to wait until another event to judge the G55s performance potential.OK. We won't judge speed by failures of disruptive technology. And we won't judge seaworthiness by a mast falling down and other problems resulting in abandonment. At what point IS it permissible to pass judgement on the GB55?And you can DEFINITELY not judge the speed of the G55 by any results this week. Lots of gear issues.
