RAINMAKER DISMASTED OFF HATTERAS IN GALE

The damage does not look that bad at all, as far as the hulls go. The picture windows knocked out of the port side of the green room does look like large amounts of water could come aboard in very rough seas. Could that main salon be designed with drainage? That would seem prudent, but that might have been overlooked with over confidence in the design.

The pic with the CG chopper isn't very clear, but I don't make out any severe damage from a ship attempting a rescue.

If the coachroof can be so easily disrupted, shouldn't the hatches into the hulls be made pretty much bombproof to prevent all of that downflooding?
For a supposed offshore boat, you would think so. Not really necessary for a condomaran kept in sheltered water.

'The boat endured a direct hit by a freighter and survived'

'The saloon endured the full force of the rig falling on it'

There was a allot of enduring going on. Some please define 'endure'.

It's official. PJ is completely delusional.
