Um... no, but thanks for playing. See the attached link if you're interested. It's a big container ship, empty of containers, with a jacked-up rudder. Being towed to Portland for repairs.
I pass or get passed by bulk carriers five times a day. Heck, I can see two from where I'm sitting now - this was something unusual, though the photo totally sucks at conveying that.
Ahh yes, they are on the actual Colombia, not the skinny little tributary at Longview- which is a much smaller stretch of water… not that I spend any time down there - never actually. Interesting nevertheless.

Don Winslow of the Navy

Anybody remember this serial? I saw a few in the 1950's during the Saturday matinee at the local movie theater. I was very taken with them, but only saw maybe two episodes and didn't know what was going on.

I Googled and found the 12 episodes on Amazon:

Gonna binge watch tonight! Not sure if Mrs. Bull is going to make popcorn and join me or call our lawyer.

Well, was it Orville Redenbacher or some litigation?
Well, she joined me, but did not make popcorn. The first two episodes chapters, excuse me, had so many sea thrills and so much exciting action, that we're taking a short break. The Human Torpedo was awesome!

Note: Winslow wear dress whites all the time.

This just in from classaction.org:

Dishwasher Use Could Cause Pyrex Markings to Fade, Class Action Says

A proposed class action claims Pyrex measuring cups are not as dishwasher safe as advertised since putting the product in the dishwasher can cause its all-important measurement markings to fade and disappear.

The 14-page lawsuit against Instant Brands LLC says that although the company has prominently claimed its ubiquitous glass Pyrex cups are dishwasher safe, the markings on a cup “can often disappear in as little as one wash,” or at least within several months.

I am considering joining.

Brits; is this a phony space between this model's front teeth? Burberry is old school so I like that she is flaunting her 'gap teeth' look.

I don't know if that is Dutch model Lara Stone, or Georgia May Jagger, Sir Michael's daughter.

All those gap-toothed young'uns look alike to me.

I must be getting old, if I'm looking at their teeth.

Well, they've never been afraid of adding a little gap-tooth in cinema make-up. And it would be a breeze with Photoshop. It's been an asset for many actors.

A few models start flashing a divide and before you know it, people will start driving little wedges to make their own.

There is a park near here, beloved of wind sports enthusiasts, called “Viento.” But that is actually the initials of the men who once ran a lumber mill there. Of which no trace remains. Like footprints in the sand.

Hmm… Viento would have been a good name for the boat…

There is a relatively new kitesurfing brand called Reedin, from the endings of the two founders' surnames, world-class kiter Kevin Langaree and ex-Naish Kites designer Damien Girardin.

Our daughter had a gap like that once her adult teeth had settled in, but it turned out it was caused by a little extra tooth growing under the gum in the gap, so we had it removed and closed up the gap with dentures. Maybe we should have let her be with her little invisible unicorn.

One of the more expensive upgrades I made to my boat was one of these, but at the time they did not have the sliders for holding it to the genoa track, so instead I bought two spinnaker pole rings that slide on the same dimension track and made up PVC tubing to bush them. Works well.

One morning in the mooring field at Panamarina in Panama I was climbing down to go for a swim and noticed a piece of something like seaweed caught on the line I use to raise the ladder (on the right in the second pic). Closer examination revealed it to be a seahorse, the only one I have seen. Told my wife about it and she texted "Must have been admiring the ladder!"

Dragon, I notice your third toe is the longest of the five. According to more than one website, this has significance:

Third Toe – Your third toe determines whether or not your life is in or outside of work. People who have long third toes are usually energetic and bring energy to the workplace. They enjoy putting extra effort into their job and are not just doing it to make ends meet. They love what they do.

Just sayin'.
