Hmm, if real that could be an outstanding collector's item even if the stamps are common ones.
I collected stamps. I was given several LARGE boxes of "stuff" by my grandfather, who was also a stamp collector. One of the boxes was all family letters from about the 1870s on up thru ~1964. In it were about a dozen Deutsche Poste airmails that went by the Graf Zeppelin and the Hindenburg, and they had cancellation stamps shaped like a dirigible. My understanding is that they were the German equivalent of "R.M.S." ie Royal Mail Ship and had a postmaster on board.
No idea how valuable they were (or weren't), as I would never have sold them.

The Hindenburg letter (now in a museum) is a prized example of a macabre side of airmail philately called "Crash Post", That is, mail recovered after an "interrupted flight" or aircraft crash event. A little ghoulish, but each a bit of history.
In the US, if the mail was whole it would be stamped "interrupted flight" along with a location/date. Else, identifiable elements would be sent in a "Official Business" envelope. Other countries used different systems.

excellent, thanks for the info. I knew that mail recovered from disasters got sent on, but never knew how nor thought much about the effort involved.

Freeman Dyson's wonderful concept spacecaraft, "ORION."
Propelled by atom bombs. I forget the base plate specs, but the idea was to sling nuclear warheads under a hugely thick steel/cement disc upon which the spacecraft was mounted with shock absorbers. A hundred or so nuclear detonations later, you have a city-sized vessel in orbit.
Would (in theory) do less environmental damage than the world's internal-combustion vehicles.
