I thought the Camroc was so cool at the time! built one of those and a Gemini. never had any luck with multi-stage. did have a lot of fun with those things.Steam, I was a summer camp counselor in 1970, and taught a model rocketry workshop along with another counselor whose uncle was the VP of Estes Industries. We were able to get everything and anything Estes made- including the then exotic Camroc, etc. We got so jaded by the excess that we got to the point that we didn't care if a particular model was recovered. We did multi-staging, clustering, whatever the hell we felt like. It was a glorious summer!
Pretty much everything gets valuable when it gets old enough. My mom threw out my Mad Magazine collection. I had a complete set 1980 - 1992.No idea if they would ever be worth anything
I couldn't afford one of those, but it was very cool to get those shots BITD. Anybody talking about battery powered flying drones with video would have been locked up.I thought the Camroc was so cool at the time! built one of those and a Gemini. never had any luck with multi-stage. did have a lot of fun with those things.
