Oscar Koveleski. Founder PRDA (Polish Racing Drivers of America) Had his shop in Scranton and was a friend of my dad’s. Loved Auto World. Got my models and slot cars there. I remember the car there. Came in third in the first Cannonball in a van which was basically a fuel truck so they would not have to stop to gas up as much. Quite a guy, hero to me as a kid

Both horribly sad events. I watched almost all of the early shuttle launches, and had the misfortune to be watching live on that awful day in 1986. Just completely broke my heart.

I was standing in the lodge ski shop at Heavenly waiting to rent ski’s for my kids and saw it on the TV on the wall over the counter. Silence and a few sobs in a very crowded shop. Not a good day skiing. Couldn't shake it.
