I was standing in the lodge ski shop at Heavenly waiting to rent ski’s for my kids and saw it on the TV on the wall over the counter. Silence and a few sobs in a very crowded shop. Not a good day skiing. Couldn't shake it.I think that's actually photos from Columbia (2/1/2003)

Both horribly sad events. I watched almost all of the early shuttle launches, and had the misfortune to be watching live on that awful day in 1986. Just completely broke my heart.
Love the boulder bumpers. Those boys can put in lots of critical line in really tough terrain.
