There was a similar Elliott called Gorilla biscuits in NZ but it had racks not wings . Question for sportscar ….did you get another NZ design after the Thompson 9.7 ?

Floating Duck, I can offer to crew on Nebula if you are ever in need. I sail out of Gig Harbor on my F28r. Had a winged Nacra 20 before that.

Another one off and loosely coined as a “rocket” like buckle up but “50” . possibly the last design by J young ?
Just saw the name Taylor in reference to a Taylor 42 on SA...l then remembered the boat I had in my mind called Danger Mouse but couldnt find this winged 32'...but with the jogging of the designers name I realized the name was Danger Zone. a bit like Disaster Area from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy...

Design brief was for ‘the fastest 30 ft boat that PHRF would handicap’. A 2 ft stern scoop added during development.increased the LOA to 32 ft. Hull consists of carbon skins over Nomex honeycomb core. Ballasted carbon dagger keel fixed down for racing. Keel retractable and wings detachable for trailering. Deck wings flood at high heel angles to reduce risk of turtling in a severe knockdown.

Worked on this design and remember working on getting the "leading edge" of the wind shaped so it'd generate some lift as it started going into the water at high heel angles.
