If republicans would actively support, and pay for all of the unwanted children, instead of trying to cut funding for impoverished children/families, I might have a speck of respect for them. Instead they regularly try to cut spending for food stamps, health care, and social services for these people.

I think abortion should be illegal if those opposing it will full fund the child, and the child's family up through the age of 21. That includes food, medical, housing, transportation, schooling (up through college), psychological counseling, drug abuse remediation/counseling, and of course sexual education.
