I raced on a Soveral 33 named Wild Thang.

Our boat is named Last Kid Picked. We have an endless supply of crew gear from the band with the same name:

The band gave us their logo to put on the back of the boat (see avatar).

They are a very fun band to see if they are ever playing in your area.

My Evelyn 32 is named Wild Thing; everyones thinks it's from the Troggs song but it's actually named after the Sendack children book "Where the Wild Things Are"

My J-30 is named "Blue Meanie", named after the characters in The Beatles "Yellow Submarine". The first regatta I went to with the boat years ago, a J-40 of the same name was headed out of the harbor as I headed in.

Our U20 was named after the previous owner's dog who was named Layla. It came adorned with splashy graphics. Here is an image where Layla squeaked by at the weather mark in the San Diego NOOD. I never particularly liked Eric Clapton, but now I really like the 1999 acoustic version of Layla's theme song.
