The gunboat 68 (Tosca) is not in the list ?

But the race starts on Feb 21st, so the list is not complete right ?

Wet coast.
RORC requirements specify a lifting loop on the PFD, along with other things.  Can a previous generation Mustang (3154) be fitted with a soft shackle on the harness and meet this requirement?  Or are the integrated sailing harness rings enough? Asking for a friend who want to borrow my PFD for the event.

At a guess probably not as with things like lift points I would imagine they want them to be integral to the design of the harness mechanism, not an addition later on.

My Marine Pool PFD/Harness has a webbing loop stitched into it which I'm guessing is what they're looking for.

I suspect you are right.  Does anyone know which inflatable PFD's meet ISO 12402-3 (Level 150)?   I have confirmed that the Spinlock Deckvest 6D and VITO both do, and several suppliers claim that the Mustang EP38 does but I haven't confirmed it.    Are there others?

Ocean Safety Sport Pro 275 and 175  are ISO1240-2.

Pretty sure if the -2 ISO exceeds -3.

It looks an exciting course- lots of manoeuvring!

I did it a few years back on a Gunboat which was pretty awesome. The 55m schooner Adela also did it that year - we sailed past them at night and with all her sails set under moonlight she looked incredible and somewhat spooky. I chatted with some of the crew after the race and they said they did over 100 (I think it was nearer 130) sail 'manoeuvres' - hoist, drops, furls, reefs etc. They were spent. I think we did about 15.

Sunrise, of Fastnet and Middle Sea fame is on her way there. As is Dawn Treader, another JPK1180. Should be an interesting battle!

Apparently the supply chain issues are even affecting races now. At least three or four boats that had planned to get there on a ship had their ride cancelled at the last minute. At least it’s a nice delivery!
