Wrong....It's not that Democrats are worse, it's that they are no better. People in glass houses and all.

Really bugs you when I point that out doesn't it.
Not at all. It just shows you (and most Repubs making statements these days) have no moral sense.

Being a child molester and a rapist is not the same as being guilty of harassment (Clinton) or guilty of having an accident while drunk (Kennedy). All three things are bad but they are in no way close to each other on the scale of how bad they are or how the guilty individual should be treated by society.

I wouldn't vote for Moore because I don't like his character
If he had impeccable character, I'd have a problem with this:

Moore took serious issue with Rep. Keith Ellison’s (D-Minn.) decision to take his oath of office with his hand on the Quran.

Ellison, who became the first Muslim in Congress upon his election in 2006, took the ceremonial oath of office using a Quran that had been owned by Thomas Jefferson.

But Moore criticized Ellison’s decision to use a Quran, airing his criticism in a 2006 post on WorldNetDaily.com

“In 1943, we would never have allowed a member of Congress to take their oath on ‘Mein Kampf,’ or someone in the 1950s to swear allegiance to the ‘Communist Manifesto,’ ” he wrote.

“Congress has the authority and should act to prohibit Ellison from taking the congressional oath today!”

In that same piece, Moore said that there’s enough evidence for Congress “to question Ellison’s qualifications to be a member of Congress” because, he wrote, Islam is “directly contrary to the principles of the Constitution.”
Congreff shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...

He sees an exception that escapes me. Do you?

Well said, thanks Tom.

BTW your computer font is missing the little clef on those archaic "s"s.

Good point. That makes a car wreck and violating children remarkably similar all of a sudden. Practically identical now. Thanks.

No, it doesn't...It makes voting for Kennedy remarkably similar to voting for Moore.

"That makes a voting for someone based on a car wreck and voting for someone based on the violating children remarkably similar all of a sudden."

That polished up real nice, didn't it?

Ted Kennedy's accident that killed Mary Jo was that... An accident caused by poor judgement, and a lack of responsibility.

Roy Moore's stalking of, and sexual assault of young girls is no accident. These actions were taken with definite goals in mind...

Ted Kennedy most likely did not get into that car thinking "I'm gonna crash into a river, and drown someone" His thoughts were probably more along the lines of "I'm gonna get laid tonight!"

Roy Moore's thoughts were most likely not "I'm going to be running for US Senate in 30 years, so I'll just give these innocent young girls rides home".... His thoughts apparently were "I'm gonna get some virgin poontang, who won't know that I'm not supposed to ejaculate before I get out of my boxers...."

In both cases it's voting for an asshole.

What happened after the accident? Did he accidentally leave her there and fail to call for help?

What's wrong with those "policies"?
Obamacare is making health care un-affordable.  Minimum wage prices unskilled poor people out of the market making it much more difficult to get a job whereby they can gain the skills to become worth more and earn more.

You said "cause."  I said after.  Did his behavior after the accident cause it?  No.
His lack of responsibility in trying to get her out of the car may have been a contributing cause of her death. We'll never know, and not reporting it was definitely poor judgement (As was getting into the car in the first place).

The fact remains that Kennedy did not set out that evening to kill anyone. Roy Moore set out many times with the express intention of molesting young girls... Those were no accidents.

I don't pretend to know all of the facts in the Moore case, but it sure seems like he is a scumbag.  His accusers are republicans with no axe to grind against him that reluctantly came forward after being pressured by the press?

That sounds sufficiently vague to be worthless.  I figured we'd get here eventually.  Thanks.
