When you, a 30+ year old man, stick your dick on, in, or around a 14 year old girl (or boy), with or without the mother's permission, you are a molester engaging in the act of molesting. At no point should you ever be allowed to be responsible for anything more important than, say, changing your own underwear. And your political career, should you have one, is now over.

Can Roy Moore be an effective bringer of pork and infrastructure development for Bama in DC?
It seems the answer is no, he's increasingly a pariah, he carries the stink of a pervert, and his own Republicans won't work with him. His wife won't be invited to the garden parties, he won't be invited to the charity golf tournaments. He'll get nothing done other than vote the party line, and that's no.way to bring development to a State.
On the other hand, his opponent could be Elmer Fudd, and he'll be romanced with development deals from the left and right, simply to get Bama on board with the constituency train again. The voters are far more valuable to the Defense, Health and Ag lobbies than their parties. If even ten percent of the Republican Alabama voters recognize that at the booth, then Roy loses. And they have a deep history of recognizing things like that. It's why the Bible Belt is an emerging manufacturing center and beating the Rust Belt at their own game.

Yes Moore is creepy. It is becoming clear that Alabama voters do not want a Democrat senator. Live with it! In a perfect world, Roy would resign after swearing in and the Gov would appoint a replacement. But the left would find out or manufacture some grievence against ANY non commie leftist.
