If Jones does win do the Dems have Sen. Shelby to thank?  At present there is about a 13,000 vote difference between Jones and Moore, but there were almost 22,000 write-in votes.  Presumably most of them would have otherwise gone Republican.

I just might... It is early still. The left has gleefully supported so many deffective candidates over the years that a mid thirties acting like a teenager candidate (but stopping short of force) hardly bothers me. It certainly never bothered the left with Bobby, Ted, Billy or all the others.....

Admittedly, they only lost by a mere 1.4%. A mere 13,000 votes, give or take a few.

As much as solid party supporters like your good friend TMSAIL and your favourite punching bag Dog might want to find redemption in these results, Republicans didn't vote for the better guy. They vacated the field and let others make the hard decision for them. They didn't vote against the child molester, they tried to pretend it wasn't their issue to deal with. Also known as being cowards.
