Dear Clean: concern is not the same as outrage. Having this forum to express such concern helps mitigate this thus preventing despair.

edit: I have a big problem with people who lie for money and to convince people to vote against their own best interests. I used to just not give a shit what anyone else did then one day I became WOKE. Invading Iraq was the catalyst for that change.

I share your concerns. What to do?

Issente EC juste baste on numberes and notte neccessarrilley whearre they live ruralle/urban?
The underlying bias in part comes from the allocation of senators. Montana, Wyoming and Alaska have single congresscritters and two senators.

I believe a winning electoral college score can be had with votes of 19% of the population.

In the senate itself, rural states easily outweigh the urban states for a majority. The fact that the Ds have a senate majority gives a bit of a lie to the famed "rural divide" in favor of the tRumpers.

(Nevermind. See post #17.)

I try to speak out where I can, I vote with my $$, when I am in a restaurant that has FOX News on (this just happened and at least there was no sound) I tell the staff that I enjoy the food but object to FOX and in fact don't appreciate politics while eating. Recently a local craft brewer cancelled an event sponsored by a RW group and featured Kyle Rittenhouse as a speaker. They received death threats even after explaining they brew beer and aren't political. I posted my support both to their decision and their beer. Southern Star which is located in Conroe, Texas aka Trumpland. One of my best friends is a criminal defense attorney there and he has stories about the abuse of powers there. He makes a great living defending people from the cops there who are much like Barney Fife with an attitude.

Thanks Clean, being in Texas it's not easy being blue with so much red. It wasn't always this way and I hope I live long enough to see the pendulum swing back to the middle. I used to be in the middle until the middle swerved off the road, thru the bar ditch and fence and landed in the weeds.

dirt can't vote, yet farm country is well represented in DC. not saying it's totally wrong, just not democratic or free capitalism. not many trump signs out there today.

From a city boy's perspective.
