Bout - Int'l arms dealer "... sentenced to 25 years in prison after a being found guilty of conspiracy to kill Americans and US officials, delivering anti-aircraft missiles and aiding a terrorist organization.

For tall American cannabis oil consumer.

ETA: Upon release Bout will make it his business to fuck us up. Griner will go back home and be more careful in the future. Sorry Brittany.

Bolsonaro announces agreement to release Robson, jailed in Russia for two years

Brazil's Robson Oliveira, the former driver of soccer player Fernando, was granted a pardon by Russia's government and released on Sunday after two years in prison for entering the country with a prescription medication containing a substance banned in Russia [40 pills of methadone hydrochloride]. The announcement of Robson's release was made by President Jair Bolsonaro, after a conversation with Brazil's ambassador in Moscow, Tovar Nunes, and with Robson himself, who is already at the Brazilian embassy in the Russian capital.

"After a long negotiation it was announced today (Sunday) the freedom of Robson, who worked for the soccer player Fernando, of Spartak Moscow," Bolsonaro said in a video posted on his social networks. "It was two years that Robson spent detained in Russia and today we thank President (Vladimir) Putin, the Russian ambassador to Brazil and the Brazilian ambassador to Russia. It is a day of joy and, God willing, next Thursday, we will receive Robson here in Brazil."

Robson was arrested in March 2019 while entering Russia with a controlled medication containing methadone hydrochloride. The substance, which can be used to treat addiction to hard drugs, is banned in Russia but has its sale permitted in Brazil in certain controlled medications.

Robson was sentenced to three years in prison
. In October 2020, the case was brought to Bolsonaro by Palmeiras player Felipe Melo, and the Brazilian government began gestures to try to free the driver. The president even sent a letter to Putin asking for his release.

The Brazilian was included in the list of pardons of the Russian government, usually made in this Easter week of the Orthodox Church.

"It's the most important part of the season, after the break. It's playoffs. The whole season I worked, my team worked hard to get to a good position," Griner said, continuing, "There was nothing that was going to change that for me. I didn't want to let my team down. I did know about the 'do not fly' advisory, but like I said, there was nothing that was going to change my mind on coming back and finishing my duty for my team." BG

She makes $220K/season in the wnba and has made 1.5M a season in RU. My hunch: she followed some bad advice from her agents.

Yeah, snatch a high profile US citizen right before they invade another country. Their rules.

What makes her different from any other US citizen? Why weren't they sanitized before entering the country? Not the first time Russia has pulled this shit.

If she is like most other high-profile athletes, she probably thinks that the laws don't apply to her.
