I start to not like the graphics anymore. Most of the time the race looks like a computer game with all the overlays. Is it actually real?

WOW Canada! And WTF USA?
I was not expecting CAN to deliver in the breezy conditions.
Yes, USA's day was a disaster. Even without hitting anything, or being hit by anyone! :)

Shocker.. something needs correcting in that team; at times it looked like the flight control was not well-enough synchronized with the rest of the team.

from https://www.sailgp.com/races/season...-prix-chicago/day-one-report-canada-triumphs/

It was a tricky day for flight controllers, who battled the unique challenges of freshwater racing and wind speeds of 32 km/h, with many struggling to keep their F50s under control.

Canada and Great Britain made consistently strong starts over the line, while Peter Burling scooped his third race win as New Zealand Driver in the first race of the day.

The narrow racecourse of Chicago Harbour saw teams jostle for space at congested marks, with many near collisions averted.
Meanwhile, it was an error-filled day for home favourites the United States, with Jimmy Spithill’s team finishing the day with an 8-9-7 racing record and finishing in overall last place.

Elsewhere, two-time champions Australia battled back from a seventh place finish in race one to finish second and third in races two and three, leaving them in fourth place overall heading into day two.
Racing resumes at 2pmp CDT on Sunday, June 19. Click HERE for full broadcast information.

I think they might struggle more in the lighter wind which are forecasted tomorrow. If CAN & GBR (Robertson & Ainslie) are smart they form an alliance tomorrow and eliminate the Aussies because if Slingsby gets into the Final again he probably wins again. CAN sit 6 Points clear of the Aussies and Great Britain 5 Points.
