There are always compromises...
Indeed.

BTW we cant see the details of the lines fwd. IF they got the apparently hollow sections just right, she won't bow steer and that goes a long way to ameliorating broachiness. But that warpled aft near zero deadrise aft with no vestigial keel and a wide transom..we all know how that tends to go...and even with the bow lines neutralizing bow steering with heel, in quartering seas she might still be a handful with that lateral plane arrgt.

Fascinating.  Even as the new sailboat designs add ever larger windows in the hull, the ‘new’ idea for powerboats is to make them darker below, with pillbox salons….
Much like cars today with the greenhouse stuffed down low to get that “chopped custom aggressive look.”  Never mind that now you need cameras and sensors to be able to “see” all the blind spots poor design had created

Wow. This is pretty close to perfect, except for the cost to build, and of course the cost to run…

Looks fantastic.  Running costs shouldn't be too bad - looks like they are expecting around 3nmpg which is very good for the size.  Exterior looks pretty bulletproof.  Wonder what the all-in cost would be for the 49 or 53, what engine(s) they spec, and whether it needs stabilization.
