Set up a go-fund-me as said above. I'll donate as I'm sure others will. I'm now a big fan of Epson printers. We used Canon and several HP printers in the past till switching to Epson about 10 years ago.

You can get a complete set of toner cartridges (one for each color) for $180 total from Amazon. The oem cartridges claim 9000 pages per cartridge for color. Get one of the off brand ones that reviews well. The oem ones are 180 per cartridge.

I've lived on the off brand ones and they have been fantastic.
It’s worth looking into refilling. A local shop here refills the supposedly non-refillable cartridges. The last time I had my black laser cartridge filled cost $14.

I got a Brother INKvestment MFC a few years ago and I've yet to need to re-fill it with ink. It scans, has a document feeder, does 11X17 and double sided printing.

I too will donate.

What in the holy fuck is wrong with you? You come into a thread about getting money for a special Education teacher and start shit talking?

BTW, don't bother responding. We all know you are horribly broken and now you are on ignore.
just to clarify, CC didn't start this thread asking for money... all he wanted was suggestions for what printer to buy, apparently out of his own pocket...

Grrrr. not sure who you were replying to with your post so assuming my decision to put them on iggie was correct

Our schools use Kyocera units, via a contract. They had the lowest cost per page. The toner cartridges are just plastic tubes of toner, and none of the expensive moving parts of old-school cartridges. The newer copiers even let you re-use empty cartridges for waste toner.

They are printers, so I still hate them.
