there's a regatta there every year. That and the pitchforks and torches that have long been an essential (yet underutilised) part of FNQ sailing kit need an airingAnd what does this have to do w/ sailing?
with you BSB, it is a private island resort and the reporter was told that he would be denied access. How is this different than Branson saying you are not allowed to visit his island. Obviously channel 9 has a hard on to "expose" the Scientology and it made for good TV during sweeps but there is nothing there that smacks of anything other than a Guest asking a Host to not allow their event to become a 3 ring circus. Not defending scientology, but what's wrong with the owners of a piece of private property denying admittance to whoever they want?
And what does this have to do w/ sailing?
I might point out that Hamilton Is is run from Sydney - not FNQ. That's where the $$$$ go. I'd suggest that Ch 9 has done something in the past to be excluded. Smells of sour grapes to me.there's a regatta there every year. Or maybe Bob cancelled his advertising on 9. Big $$$$ratings grabSmells of sour grapes to me.
Have to agree there. The report tries to say that he, an Australian, is being denied access to Australian territory. Not if it is private property, he can whine all he wants. Not defending scientology, but what's wrong with the owners of a piece of private property denying admittance to whoever they want?
