Young America 36 had a paint job with waves Puts her in the 70’ range but not right time or location.
FWIW, even the nonsensical posts, like mine, add to the post count for the thread and keep it near the top, which helps with the visibility, which increases the possibility that someone who hasn’t killed those particular brain cells will remember the boat you are thinking about...

Best version I have seen/sailed was the Corby 43 that started life as Full Metal Jacket, had a wrap that looked like polished chrome and reflected the bow wave beautifully along the hull.

Yes, that's what is in my mind too.Something more like this is more similar to what I remember the hull paint looking like, but perhaps with more of a water bubble effect like is found behind the boat when underway:

And yes, that's are my memories of it too.I was in the Caribbean in the late 90s and I remember the boat and also remember similarly to you that it was 65-70ft or so.
I couldn't say if it was a CNB, but yes I remember it as being a flush(ish) deck style like a Swan.
I always admired the paint job myself too.
