Maybe in one of the parallel universes. Republicans demonstrated they could act in unison with the vote expelling Omar. I am sure they could get together to protect President McCarthy's position, especially knowing how he would bend to their will.

For example, the trumpalos in Congress acted to limit McCarthy's power just now, but 2 years ago they were all in favor of aggrandizing Trump's power and cutting their own throats. Who know WTF they'll do in a couple of weeks? Not I, and not themselves either!
