Me and the boys getting some more spinnaker practice for Swiftsure. Finally, a sunny day in Seattle with temps in the 70s. Great south wind for a run up to Port Ludlow!
And then...right by the Edmonds as we were going to gybe, Orcas!
No busting my balls about I'm too close. They popped up out of nowhere and the bull (or cow) swam under the boat!
Made my depthsounder alarm go off...the kids all braced for impact!

Langø 10 meter. Extremely slim, even for Scandinavian standards. Small Danish yard, only ten were built. Mine is number four from 1990, and I think the only one that made it to Germany.
