And, the crowning glory... ...a classic split horizon mirror (to replace the full horizon style one) for my sextant!

Things are really looking up for the New Year, sailing-wise.  Sometimes, ya just gotta buy yourself what you really want

I got this Easy life neck light. Goes around the neck, has 2 adjustable led lights and really makes it easy to work with. Beats the hell out of those headband lights.

What make and model is that boat?

Its our Santana20.  She was knocked around pretty hard in Hurricane Laura.  Hurricane Sally destroyed our S2 7.9 and with the exception of the MC Scow and the Solsa, we were boatless.  The cost to restore Anna’s deck and hull and mast far exceeded the value of a Santana 20, but after a year of trying to find a boat that suited us, with zero luck, we decided to get our little Santana restored for our Christmas.  

We have sailed her for decades, knew pretty much everything about her and with both of us in our 70’s, we decided that more boat might just be too much ‘more.’
