The boat is currently in the Seycelles - and for sale - but the owner is dead and there is little facts/history about this boat. Anyone that has more info? It said "fiberglass" - but som pics show wood - many of the was strip-planked?

I noticed TWO versions of her hulls:

1) Glass over ply
2) Balsa cored

No idea which one is closer to the truth ... May be different builders build differently ...

Very distinctive , not built exactly to plan cabin arrangement. Looks awfully like a Slipstream that went by the name ”Big Gallah”, understandably may have had a name change when it changed hands a while back.
Big Gallah was western red cedar and ply.

I have seen an ad from 2017 of Big Gallah and dont think its the same boat - even the cabin looks the same - there are other differences - but looks like the same builder - so it can mean its pro-buildt - and that is good I think.

Do you know where Big Gallah was built? I guess NZ .... and I think this has the same builder ... This boat can go very cheap as its s "dødsbo" - the owner is dead and the boat is on sale from people that just wants to sell it or even a lawyer.

I was under the impression it was built in Queensland.
The Slipstream design was drawn near the end of Rogers design career. The cabin top in the advert is very distinctive . I have seen a few Slipstreams around , but it wasnt a common design to my knowledge. I would be surprised if someone knocked out a semi production run of them.

Hi Mrs Octopus, it appears you are right. I have enquired about the Cat but the previous information on her build is pretty scarce. Do you know who built her and when it was launched. I am trying to get hold of the dimensions. She has apparently had a refit done at Boatworks in QLD.
Internal refit was redone over a period of nine months.
