The sheer looks almost Express 27-ish in that shot. Nice.

Started sailing International 14s on Saratoga Lake in New York & on the U.S. East Coast in 1966. The started Windsurfing in 1983 on Lake Lanier in Georgia. Now I have just restored a Classic International 14 & will be sailing this boat on Lake Allatoona (northwest of Atlanta) & Lake Lanier (northeast of Atlanta) in Georgia.

I actually windsurfed on Saratoga Lake a couple of times in my life in the 90s. :D

Thanks for some history esp Shads, haven’t found much. I too have a Windrose tho a 1983 26. I am amazed how seaworthy and fast it is in cruising mode. Over the last two years I have done 5 voyages the latest 650 miles including Cuba. Last spring
It was Bahamas. Great little boat.

Thanks for the clarification! Looks amazingly similar to the shoreline of Western Michigan (US).
Thats funny, some time (years?) ago, someone ( i think from the USA) compared the baltic and its conditions with the great lakes.
I like it around here...
