I am in sub-30N latitude. My experience with the Command loops is that the glue lasted about a year or so, hardened so then didn’t just pull off. So you may want to replace the glue tabs before that happens or just be ok with some difficulty there (acetone and scraping, not really all that bad). The loops last a couple years before UV gets them. The base bits held up but the loop was integral.
I eventually fabricated my own button type out of aluminium sewingmachine M size bobbins and Dyneema line, and epoxied them on.
either way, no drilling holes in the boat. Win-win. The nicest thing about the Command loops was that if I hadn’t liked the placement I could easily change
This type of bracket is typically used in boating but there are many uses around the house as well. Tying up and extension cord to your garage wall is the most obvious. These print with no support. I printed mine 0.2mm, 20% infill. The ball prints inside of the holder to save space if you want...
Fellow I sail with would rip all of these out. "Ropes stay where they fall. They feed out untangled. Halyards drop into a bag and then onto the cabin sole. At the end of the sail all sheets and guys are stowed in lockers."
I got two cheapo trunk nets and draped them over the boom. Lines just get dumped in there. They keep the lines from collecting crud on the deck or cabin top.
Bad idea to leave halyards out in the sun. Remove and replace with a leader line - then you don't need to hang them up outside or put holes in your deck to screw hangers to.
