After speeking with Rod Vela, I ordered 124 feet of  9mm Robline Coppa 5000. It has an SK78 core like the competition, but the Coppa 5000's technora cover seems a step up from Endura and warpspeed II. It's also a few cents cheaper.

Any downsides to this line?

Aren’t aramids heavy when wet? I suppose polyester is as well so maybe not a big deal…

As far as I know technora is used in covers to prevent  cover  burn from winch friction

this is not an issue on a small boat

sounds like overkill

The Coppa 5000 is good. It's down a notch from Endura mainly because of the cover. It's a looser braid so easier to splice and bury however it's also  prone to snagging anything and pulling a weave. Cover those ring dings well.

There is also Ratchet Block friction. Doesn't matter what size of boat if you're rippin with some pressure.

On my 14, we burn thru 2 mainsheets and at least one set of kite sheets a season. This includes Technora shelled premium ropes.

The boat's in San Pedro, where typical Wednesdays see mid teens to low twenties on the first run from 88. And the sheets do the better part of a 180 around a ratchet block. So hopefully the technora will help.

About 750 sq/ft symmetrical spinnaker, I think that you'll be fine for a few years with your new strings!  My similar strings are going on 10 years.  Might recoat the bare Dyneema with some Yale Maxijacket this spring.
