Apparently not, according to tracker, as he now appears pretty much back where he is usually anchored,as of 42 minutes ago. His BSO must be slowly becoming lighter as he burns through his diesel wind supply. He feels the fear and runs his engine anyway just to spite his fear. Dugg is thinking and learnin alla time. Shame he has no capacity to recall his lessons.

He is back.....boo hoo for him....the winds were too blustery and unpredictable thus the prudent mariner plays it safe. Of course the actual winds were very light, perhaps too light for this sailing machine to ...ahem ....actually sail at all.So it is back to Anchored/Vessel Sinker .

Maybe not quite all the way back, he must have picked up both anchors when he went tooling around? Oh he came back to pick up his crew waiting for him at the picnic table on the beach.

The first video that comes up when clicking the link you provided, shows a young version of Dugg sharing his wisdom to the masses. I almost passed cold beer through my nostrils ! Dam that kid is hilarious!! Thanks for the link,Rasputin22!!!

Funny thing is that loop shown could actually be achieved over the course of one tidal cycle by any floating object even without sails.
More drivetrain design changes forthcoming!!! A transfer case. Ya can't make this stuff up.
And he stated stuff slid of the table with the mainsail up so that's to be avoided for now. Hmmm.

he needs to weld some fiddles on the table...
Do sailboats heel over when under sail? Never knew that. I suppose fiddles make sense then. He built the table with wooden raised edges about 1/2" high. Kept his pencil from rolling off in the front yard of Ute Street. "Sea trials" are indicating a few shortcomings in Perdido Bay. Doug'll fix it.
