He can rock those blades fore and aft with his hand. I'm speechless. Slop in the prop. And it's only going to get worse as it wears until I guess it just explodes. But like every failure, that'll "actually be a good thing" for some reason.

And scraping the bottom of that monster with a 2" chisel is "fun". He's gonna get a kick out of it he says. I guess for fun he also cleans sidewalks with toothbrushes. Doesn't he need a 100 ton Travel Lift to haul out? Those things don't grow on trees.

Someone should tell him about antifouling.
So - he's looking for a gear reduction as he believes he's overpropped (won't say it, but says the engine is lugging and running hot) and he's carrying around a national parks worth of hard growth, including on the propellor? AND he knows the propellor is smashing something and has since he launched? jeebus, the lack-of-knowledge burns!

I saw him undo the latch and thought the same thing that the guy mentioned. But as per usual, Dougie says just be careful.... sure, when the boat is rolling about you should be able to just hold that door open cause you know..... you caught your hand once in a car door so now you know better. What a buffoon. Off with the fingers....
It was a double entendre, without the risque part, which could have been construed as either between "ignorant" and "American", or "US" and "American".
Of course, if you have to explain the joke...;)
Yea I got it, I wasn’t lecturing just making an observation.

I want to haul this ungainly contraption out at your marina please.
(OH HELL NO) Well that is interesting. Please let us see your insurance paperwork.
* pro tip, the marina's insistence on paperwork varies with the odds of inheriting a hulk that will never get fixed or launched ;)

Regarding the prop rubbing the nozzle. In addition to prop slop, could the nozzle be flexing as the prop pulls water in when underway?

Nice marine railway only about 10 miles east.
