I know a guy who got one of those right across his face. Not pretty. I use 4” and 9” grinders often and they must be used properly and respected.

I got one across the chest. Was incredibly lucky that it was mainly superficial and could be just glued and buttery clipped up.
Thankfully the firm I was contracting to had a policy of double eye protection, safety glasses and face shield.
They had photos on the wall of their induction office of one of their workers who had split his upper lip and cheek open.
He had obviously been on the green whistle as he was smiling- not pretty.
