But they didn't blank out the cricket lover's name. Cricket is probably fun if you understand it, like curling. Curling, which much more fun to play than you'd think, is big enough in Canada for men and women at the top to be semi pro. Because they have big sponsors like Pinty's, which makes chicken wings. Meanwhile, Maitre Coq in France, also makes chicken products but they sponsor an ORMA 60 that was just 2nd in the Route de Rhum. As a Canadian I find this deeply saddening.

I just had to get that off my chest. Great news that the Sidney Hobart start will be streamed.

If your sister doesn't want it projected on the wall for all to enjoy, you should skip dinner and stay home.

Also, if it matters, I think the start is actually at 6 PM Vancouver time, not 5. Although I suppose the coverage will start sooner than 6.

The start is definitely 6 pm Pacific time. If the southerly is in by then you can expect the voyage to the first mark to be a massive 10 minutes or so. You might even get lucky and spot the occasional boat under 50 feet.

The gun is at 6PST, so the coverage will likely start around 5pst - Seabreeze is calling for 20 - 25knts at start time, don't want to miss this
