My info is Broke the 1st Rig, insurance paid. Broke the 2nd insurance said manufacturers problem. They might have a mast now, it's been a while.

If Comanche was on the hard stand next door to Oats with their mast in the lightning would of hit them first as Comanche’s draft is greater and the mast Hight is taller than Oats. If Comanche was in the water then they would be 50m away from Oats st least and the mast Hight would of deem around 4-6 m lower. 

Were any other boats boats on the hard next to Oats when the lighting hit ?

Any merit to the story on the front page that Oats will not sail the Hobart? It's being suggested the lightning is a cover up, dagger board angles being changed, hard to know what to believe?

They raced against BJ this year & scallywag last year at Hammo so I would think they would made changes earlier. 

WOXI's track looks like they left the dock but returned. 

They are off again now doing 11.3 so we will soon know.
