I thought it was pretty cool when I started reading but then I had a look at the claims of the two individuals, one of which seemed to have a lot more under her belt than true......

How many chicks have ever done a full medcup!?!?!? I googled her and could not find any more info, racer chaser was my thought...

I love creativity.... and I think woman should certainly sail...... What I find irritating is where funding goes and who it goes to, I dont like seeing money poured down the drain and I dont like people window dressing their sailing careers. Honesty is the best policy when going into something like this, know what I mean?

I have seen plenty of male campaigns go a similar way, start up, eat cash, piss someone off who is funding it and then bang; there goes another potential campaign venture capitalist gone. Think of all the campaigns that have started and failed in the past, its more than just money needed to be a success.

Sorry no not sexist... Just poor wording on my behalf, talking like a lad in a bar which is not right. Yeah maybe she was on a shore crew for a TP, any idea which one? I have not seen many girls in that fleet, certainly not many if any sailing....

The way the sentence is worded implies she did, and more than one apparently.

With almost every notable Solent regatta to her name, Sammie moved up a gear and began racing on board a TP52. A Med Cup and a TP52 World Championships later and its fair to say this girl knows her stuff.

I read is as "I've won a Med Cup Championship and a TP52 World Championship(s)"

Guess her bio needs a little editing to avoid any confusion it clearly has caused.

LIkewise I have done many big events and I think that is fair play to list events if you have done them.... i just cant find any indication of woman who have done a medcup recently? Any ideas on that?
