That's a trailer sailer!

I did not direct the "stupidity" comment at you, that is a common quote. But it seems to have struck a nerve.

Whenever someone comes at me with "It must be great" or "It must be nice", ya don't have to be a rocket surgeon to know they want a shit fight. So the question is:

Why do you love shitfights? Why, out of all of the nice people here, do you seem so consistently determined to sow discord?

Grith is a little windy with his verbiage, I get that, but that was no reason for you to shit on him. He's a good guy, I think, and passionate. That's no sin.

I still think I'd like you in person, and usually like you here, but before you blast people, you should ask "how does this reflect on me?"

I'm fine if you don't like me, I'm a big boy, but I make no apologies.
Apologies for the verbiage! There always seems to be so much to say!😂
I have been elected president of a lot of different clubs and organisations in my time. Perhaps I am better in the flesh. 🙂

To follow Cruising Loser's advice some, and to help change the subject somewhat. Here's a neat looking trailer sailor. Just big enough to overnight on...fin and bulb and sprit should make it a nice performer and easy beer can racer...

I cant get just the one photo in full size to show up, but looking at the backstay in relation to the tiller it appears to chafe the tiller. Most likely much different in real life.

It does look like it chafes some. I suspect that's because they seem to have "upgraded" to a multi-purchase system from the original single purchase system? Also, from this angle, there appears to be more room...

I rather fancy this one:

An actual trailer yacht, as opposed to a yacht on a trailer.

Hi Tedd The 2.87 beam makes these a pain to move here in Australia requiring over width signage and being restricted to towing in daylight hours. They are also precluded from towing in some areas.
I looked at them closely and they are a great sea going trailer sailer but just push the boundary of being truely towable one notch too Farr in my view.
No further comment on the basically transportable by road yachts that many have posted here part in jest!
We have several other very big trailer sailers here in Australia which break into the 2.5 metres wide to 2.9 meters zone and even some that are still genuinely trailerable whilst still being capable of self launching on conventional ramps in the 2.9-3.2 width bracket. 🙂

Definitely think they need to include the crane as it’s the only way you are getting a yacht that big launched off its trailer.😂
Then again perhaps you could add a mast to this and call it a trailer sailer!
The next one really is one however.

looking at the sails, I’m wondering why they didn’t chose to launch in the lee of the other dock? The red shirt could hack kept it centered on the trailer and the lack of fenders wouldn’t be an Issue.
