Tom, you're totally good to go for some indoor shooting.
Thanks and as always, when considering the joke that is American health care, as with every other issue, it's important to remember that i sometimes say bad things about TeamD gun bans and confiscation programs, which I assume is why you are bringing that up yet again?

I am just a hard working ham and egger and have never been with out HC

Rich people get all the healthcare they want. Their system is working perfectly
So do poor people.

You were doing so well until your last sentence - the water problems are due to climate change and no restrictions on development and water use. This was predicted many years ago and everyone just ignored it or passed the buck. I agree about the health insurance industry so lets add in the pharmaceutical one as well - it's free markets and fucked people. Thanks to St. Ronnie people believe government is the problem when it's unregulated capitalism which funds bad government.

Don't forget agricultural waste.

Six of the seven states along the Colorado River have agreed to an approach for cuts that would get them close to what the Biden administration is calling for — but California, the biggest water user along the river, remains the lone holdout, leaving officials in the West worried about conflicting plans.

Shit, what freedom could I have given up when I ruptured my achilles to have it only cost $20? That one maxed my deductible, had a bunch of non-covered out of pocket, and insurance stopped covering physical therapy sessions before it was advised. I would have been better off with a full rupture instead of the partial.

Is it that non-Americans give up the freedom to delay their own care and play scheduling games to make sure contributions towards their deductible get concentrated in the beginning of the calendar year?

Posters like Saorsa are why we can't join the rest of the industrialized world by claiming that poor people get good health care. Going to the emergency room, having your life savings wiped out, no access to preventative care ain't good.

Just ignore we could have better results for much lower costs and no worries about going bankrupt. Thanks Saorsa and all your elk.

There is no "American health care". It's American medical extortion.
ANYONE can get better health care by going to Grenada for a vacation, and having a medical issue come up.
(Do hope you get a Cuban, Syrian, or Iranian Dr...... They're the best... Not kidding)

My friend and her brother live in the US; just heard from her. Cannot believe how this happens there.

Try starting your own small business in the USA, and affordable healthcare with a pre-existing condition....

The federal government is very skilled at bullshit to avoid liability. Good luck to your bro, unfortunately he'll need it.

The ACA addressed the legality of covering people with a medical history, but that is not the same as making the coverage affordable.

Unless you've been in the position where your job choices are tied the medical coverage offered, due to circumstances beyond your control, you are out of your depth.

Yes that is something that needs to be addressed. Government controlled HC is an extreme that should be the last resort, because it would be an immediate loss of excellence which is what is available now.

Nothing i wrote had anything to do with "Government controlled HC", which is not actually a thing, other than in your head.
Quality of actual care provided, and the accessibility / affordability of that care are two completely different, and largely unrelated issues.

We have no deductible on most health care. Our private medical insurance (drugs, dentistry, optometry) just doesn't pay out until we hit their deductibles, so prescriptions are out of pocket until we hit $200(?), then they pay their portion of any future medication.
