I like the AC75.....however if someone won the cup, they could easily rewrite the rules.

But if the Protocol provision to come is a set-up, a precursor to a Cowe's one-on-one match preceding an Auckland event with multiple challengers, What then?

I think this rule must be in place for a DOG match which is then followed by a normal America’s Cup.
No it isn’t. TNZ hated the boat. Why would they sign up for that. It was a beach cat. Fact is ALL the Teams fuckin loved the AC 75.

The agreement is written into the protocol. The protocol is only valid until the challenge is decided. ETNZ knows it,which is why its written into the protocol. If they lose, a new protocol is written and the previous one is non existent.
The Framework was an agreement made independently of, and outside of the protocol of AC35, effectively making it binding independent of that protocol.
AC35 involved teams beholden to the Defender at that time. All teams are now independent of the Defender, hence the disagreements and Arbitration cases.
The AC75's are far better than the AC50, and that is a consensus of the current teams.

Outeridge is stuck with Aus as far as I know, unless picked up by an "emerging nation"

Basically you can only sail for the country that you have a passport in, or have been living in for the last 2 years, or the Yacht Club you were representing in Auckland 2021.

I'm sorry but this is ETNZ trying to impose their vision on AC38 regardless of whether they win it lose and is no better than Orifice.
If ETNZ want to keep dictating terms, they make sure they keep winning. Not pull this scam.

10 mill for a proven boat would be cheap. Time is the big thing so this will be a significant incentive for more quality challengers.

ETNZ can't impose anything on AC38. They know it, we know it, you can be damn sure the CoR knows it, potential (prospective) teams know it so AC38 doesn't come into the picture.
