Back in June of 2020, before the first wave hit Florida, long before he could brush deaths by non- vaccination, Gaston and his friends decided wearing a mask was too big an imposition and they got together in a gym without masks.
He caught COVID. He admitted he didn’t give a shit that he may have infected others, because someone infected HIM. The very definition of selfish and self-centered behavior.
Indifference to the suffering of others is another level of depravity. It’s pathological.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. — Florida’s surgeon general, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, made claims Thursday that masks didn’t save lives during the COVID-19 pandemic and criticized doctors who recommended or mandated wearing masks.
Dr. Ladapo was speaking during a campaign-style event in Panama City with Governor Ron DeSantis and others when he made his claims.
“What did the two randomized clinical trials that we’ve done during the pandemic, what did they show? Ask them that when they tell you that these things save lives,” Ladapo said. “One found nothing, zero benefit. The other found a small benefit, like a tiny benefit that’s a little bit methodologically shaky. And by the way, none of them found a benefit in young people. Not a single one found a benefit in young people. That’s the highest-quality evidence, that’s what it showed.”
Ladapo went on to criticize the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for using what he called lower quality studies for its data. He then inferred doctors and other researchers who found the usefulness of masks must have “been taken over by zombies or something.”

Florida is probably the leader in fudging the numbers. There have been days in which the cases matched those of several states, with Florida having a death count 10x smaller. Either Florida has an awesome healthcare system that is outperforming other states by orders of magnitude, or they are lying.

The real numbers won't be known until it's over and the "excess deaths" for the pandemic period are totted up.
I'd guess they will be 50% or more higher than the official figures.

Yep, I'm more than happy to donate all the rest of our excess vax supply to 3rd world countries. It's the best health policy we could do for our country and the rest of the world.
However, I do not think saying "fuck the unvaxx'd by choice" as being indifferent to their suffering. You can lead a horse to water. If it chooses not to drink and ends up dying from thirst, then it wasn't a very good or smart horse to begin with and maybe we don't want to breed those dumb horses anymore.

A big issue (the biggest?) is that while the pandemic has exposed the flaws of our "LEAN," profit-modeled healthcare there have been no systemic changes. Mandated nurse:atient ratios? Can count states with those on one hand. And lots more issues, of course.
Think about it like this- it's all good and well that murder cult/antivaxx fuckheads are killing themselves off until the next wave hits in your area (because really it is becoming more of an endemic thing) and suddenly to see a provider in the ER is a 8 hour wait and if you need to get admitted your ass will be on a litter in the hallway for a day or two waiting. And that cancer screening-- push that back 6 months. What's the worse that could happen?
Hospitals have been brutalized. I have had two head hunters reach out to me and offer me COVID unit jobs making 4000/week - in my area. I came *THIS CLOSE* to taking them because my S2 9.2a needs new rags if I'm going to race it, but then I remembered how I would sit in the parking lot psyching myself up to go in the hospital to work COVID, and all the horrors therein, the folks making faces like a guppy put on a pool table before they get tubed and you can see the collar bone muscles contracting deep to try to help them breath, and then when I had to renew my CPR for my school gig, when it was my turn to do compressions on the dummy I had a full on out of body ptsd flashback to the last code I worked. 4000/week isn't worth that.
All that is to say that as long as 30% of the population refuses to get vaccinated hospitals are going to be fucked and that's why I think we need COVID hospitals. Not UNVAXXED hospitals, per se, but they will mostly be unvaccinated, of course. I really think it's the only way to take the stress off our system unless crazy shit happens like using CEO bonuses to hire more RTs and RNs etc.

This kind of action could cost lives. We would have to remove funds from other areas of public health and then build it into having "separate but equal" hospitals for people who have objection with genetically engineering.
And unless you are unwilling to differentiate between GMO objectors and anti-vaxxers, it seems you would even need seven separate but equal hospitals or wards in each service area ...
- People who have received all vaccinations and COVID shots and test positive for COVID
- People who have received no vaccinations or COVID shots and test positive for COVID
- People who are fully vaccinated but have not received COVID shots and test positive for COVID
- People who have received all vaccinations and COVID shots and test negative for COVID
- People who have received no vaccinations or COVID shots and test negative for COVID
- People who are fully vaccinated but have not received COVID shots and test negative for COVID
- Immunodeficient people who test either positive or negative for COVID.
Gets expensive. Maybe you can intake the patients onto the lazy susan, and then toss them in the appropriate pneumatic tube to the appropriate ward/hospital when the tests come back? There is a reason why we can't allow those with political agendas to dominate the public health funding process.
And once we start on your system, why stop there? Why not do it with diabetes and obesity? They often put themselves in that position why should they be funded by with Good Christian White Folk money?

Fuck giving them hospitals. Put the unvaxxed in tents in the parking lot. Or just not admit them. Fuckers won't accept medical treatment offered, don't waste more on them. Their family can't assault the doctors and nurses that way, too. Win/win.
A neighbor just died of Covid earlier this week, he and his wife are both >70 and been struggling with it for weeks.

This is a serious danger to the overall health and welfare of the entire country.
Until these people either smarten up and get Vaxed, or die from Covid, it seriously affects the rest of us in resuming our formerly normal lives, traveling around the USA and other countries, carrying on with our business and pleasure travel.
I don't wish death on stupid unvaxed people, but the occurrence of such deaths will certainly make it safer much sooner, for the rest of us to resume our former, normal lives.....

I certainly don't "wish death" on them, but I also think it is very reasonable to NOT give them more free resources than we've already devoted to their health and well-being, nor to let them cause potentially deadly interference in our health system.
