I was told today that RQYS sent an email to the Tasmanian owner of the above Melges 32 ordering him to remove the Envy Scooters signage from the boom because the new name of the boat brought the RQYS into disrepute. YCMTSU

I did not think that RQYS owned Envy Scooters.

That is what I must be getting wrong all this time.

So the problem is the association of Envy Scooters to RQYS brings RQYS into disrepute.

I am still not getting it.

I remember when sailing was about being on the water.  Win. And being the fuck away from people who are buzzing around shops and likely to panic buy dunny paper or bacon. What happened ? How did racing get so fucking hard?
