Describe the new gun law that would have prevented this killing of 3 children and 3 adults and I am totally on-board with it. IMO we have created a situation where schools are a soft target for the mentally deranged. There are now schools that are placing full time armed and trained security on campus. These schools are now 'hard targets' instead and the deranged will not go there.

At least 276 children were shot in Chicago in 2021. Why don't we hear more about that? Oh, yeah, Chicago is a long time leftist-run stronghold and the out of control shooting is a result of their inability to maintain peace and IMO the breakdown of the nuclear family. Baby daddies are not around to teach young males to become proper men.

You talk about the importance of the lives of children and I couldn't agree more. When the left stops promoting the killing of babies then I will believe they really mean it.

Meanwhile, wanting to remove all guns from law abiding citizens is not going to work in a country that was founded by a "citizen army" that defeated the British. There is also the need for self protection for those of us that live a far distance from the nearest police. Self protection is a God given right. The deranged killers don't follow the laws of man or God.

There are no simple solution to the USA problem with guns. There is no one law or package of laws that will make a noticeable difference tomorrow.

It’s going to take a generation Or two to solve your problem.

If you do nothing then nothing will change. If you start making laws now and keep progressing towards laws that suits the population’s level of maturity (total prohibition because you can’t handle guns responsibly) then maybe your grand or great grand kids might survive school.
