OK I could not resist this. The front did fall off the Leonardo, a 114-metre-long dry cargo ship, which was anchored near Istanbul at the time.

Too much tape.

Or maybe not enough.

That's actually a pretty common phenomenon with big ships now - they are closer to bags than the sort of rigid structures we think them to be. A loss of concentration when loading or unloading can total them.

Well, it almost fell off.

But that is not going to buff out!

And the ever popular, 'You scratched my anchor!'

I'd love to hear the call to the ship's owner.....
"Umm, Mr. Leotheopolis, this is Captain Luckie of the Leonardo.   Uhh, the skipper of the 'Leaky Leo'?  Thats right...  I hate to tell you this, but the Leo's front, yeah the pointy end, has fallen off.    No, we had unloaded her a few days ago, so the charter was paid.

We had the crew bring their children on board and we put the bounce-house in the middle , and pop, snap, crackle!   The bounce-house saved them, but they blew away to Budapest.

Istanbul Freiddy thinks he can tape her back together with some industrial duct tape and we can sell her to someone else quick.

Pictures.... Nope, nobody has seen this.   They will never know.   Thanks, bye!"
