My wife and I will be racing our Weta at Buzzelli with a combined weight of hopefully no more than 280 lbs. We don't expect to be competitive in anything less than 12 knots but we hope for a mid-fleet finish and a good time.

If the wind were to approach 20MPH+, you may find the additional ballast (you, not your wife) plays to your advantage.
With two people boat trim is key. Although you probably already know this - keep the windward ama out of the water as much as possible.
