Not inconvenienced in the slightest. I made a conscious choice to sit that one out. No way in hell could I cast a vote for either one. The ass pain of getting an absentee ballot just made the decision easier.

I should have added: "the asspain of getting an absentee ballot while living overseas as a civilian". But I could have gotten one if I was really motivated. I was not. Both candidates in 2016 sucked so bad, that I just couldn't be bothered. A pox on both their houses.
However, getting a ballot here in the US is easy. Mine showed up in the mail back in early Oct without even asking for it. It had my name on the ballot all pre-filled out and ready. I filled it out and sent it back 2 days later. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy. Got the reply that it had been accepted and registered about 3 days later.
So yes, I am insulting and dismissive of anyone here in the US that can't get off their ass and mail in or drop off a ballot if they so choose to vote.
If you have any examples of instance where mail in ballots have not been delivered to the voters by now, then I'm happy to be educated of those instances. If they do exist, they are likely extremely rare. I got my ballot more than a month out from the deadline. And I got flyers in the mail for a couple of weeks prior, several times, to say be alert for the ballots to arrive and get them back in early and DO NOT WAIT to mail them at the last second. If a caveman like me can follow instructions and have it in way early - then there is no excuse for those obviously more astute and responsible urban dwellers to not do the same.

Cruz and many others are pulling back on their obstructions. Basically they just watched trump and guilani try to murder them and are having second thoughts. Twitter has shut trump down for 12 hours. I am half expecting for trump's cabinet to turn on him and wake up to president Pence in the morning. guiliani said let's have a trial by combat and that's when the supporters stormed the capital building.
Republicans will be dealing with their unrepentant support of trump for years unless they take stand and do something drastic. Otherwise they will always be enablers to this.
