That was the last platform the Party voted in.

The fact is that Republican Party leaders (such as Rick Scott who head their finances, and Paul Ryan who was the last Speaker before McCarthey) have called for Social Security to end; or made proposals to "reform" it out of recognition.

As far as I have seen heard, it's lots of vague generalizations about spending cuts.
