It was fortunate you didnt have a bomb scare in San Diego earlier this year because you didnt have a bomb squad....they were out sick with covid.

In hippy, left wing California they let the fire department choose whether to get vaccinated . In my town, we didnt fuck around, the staunchily Republican Fire Chief mandated vaccines for all his crews and we did not have a single engine out for the duration of the pandemic.

(Do you see what I did there? I took the facts and politicized them by twisting unrelated facts into an implied causal relationship. Y'all, on both sides of the political spectrum, been doing this throughout the pandemic and it does NOT help.)

That's the nice about science. It does change as more knowledge is gained, but generally for consistent and rational reasons.

"Science doesn't change. It is our understanding of science that changes."

Science can appear utterly irrational which is why it is often so difficult to understand.

Most of all: Political Science is an oxymoron. The two mix very poorly.

It's an interesting read starting with researching why some never got HIV even after being exposed, and the search for discovering why some people never get (or have symptoms) from Covid. Warning: the latter is still ongoing so don't read if you like your science simple and settled.

I got two jabs and survived. Two of my friends didn't survive their jabs The system is trying hard to bury what happened. My friends are already buried. One was a voluntary and one mandated. I should have known better and I"ll never ever succumb to a Govt. edict. This has been a social engineering compliance experiment & Fauci and Co.must have known when they authorised an experimental drug for worldwide use

Observation, knowledge and study are components of science .
We observed the apples fell down to the ground rather than floated.
We observed that different objects of different weights dropped from the same height arrived at the ground at the same time.
We knew this a thousand years ago. We did not know why.
Newton came along with a scientific explanation called gravity.

Scientific explanations are generally but not always subject to the following hurdles:
  • Objective observation: Measurement and data (possibly although not necessarily using mathematics as a tool)
  • Evidence
  • Experiment and/or observation as benchmarks for testing hypotheses
  • Induction: reasoning to establish general rules or conclusions drawn from facts or examples
  • Repetition
  • Critical analysis
  • Verification and testing: critical exposure to scrutiny, peer review and assessment
Generally but not always, because breakthrough in physics are sometimes purely mathematical and it can be a decade or more before an experiment can be devised to test the hypothesis.

The odds are astronomical that you would know 2 people who died due to complications from the vaccine. Not impossible, but you should buy a lottery ticket.

I did get the 5th jab. And I will die. Of that there's no doubt.
