Thanks. No mention of a Denmark study but it seems likely to be similar. Golly, I hope that Chief hasn't misinterpreted results like the boobs referenced in the article you linked.

Why dont you post data for September that paints completely the opposite picture?

I simply posted the data in front of me. I did not search for data or hunt around for data .....or even draw any conclusions from the data.

I posted the data and expressed regret that 111 people died per day from Covid 19 in September in King County . Per day! These were people who had either not been vaccinated or had not received the booster. They leave behind family and friends. I did not criticize them I expressed sadness.

The data shows that, in contrast, 9 people died from Covid 19 per day who had been vaccinated and received the booster. I did not highlight the difference, and I feel sad for those families as well.

How about you? What are your feelings about the families losing loved ones at the rate of 111 per day from Covid 19?

But those figures don't equate to the official figures on this page where the latest 7 day average deaths is 2 per day for ALL vaccination statuses. Note the total for the ENTIRE pandemic is 3,195.

Just this side of insanity.
Was scheduled for my 3rd booster (bivalent) this afternoon.

Tested positive on Friday. Second bout.

First bout was unexpected, as I never experienced any symptoms. Just a positive PCR.

This time, symptoms are mild (slight headache and some sniffles).

Isolating for 5 days.

Had 3rd booster and flu shot this morning. Right now my flu shot arm is more tender (sorer is such an awkward word) than the COVID shot arm. Might have to do with needle size given 7ml of flu juice vs. 3ml of COVID juice.

my elderly parents got covid 2 weeks back. They had gotten their 5th shot (third booster) that very weekend, so likely not protecting them enough then. my wife's second booster kicked off her Ulcerative Colitis flare that made her really sick for a good 2 months. And with all that, I will still get the 5th shot when it is available to me.

Ouch, sorry to hear about the UC. THere are links to autoimmune system so it's easily possible that any vaccine that kicks up your wife's immune system would have made it worse.

24 hours since 3rd booster and flu shots. Arms slightly sore. No other symptoms.

Unless there is some new, really virulent strain of COVID I think I’m done with the shots. I still wash my hands frequently, and except for an occasional visit to the yacht club I’m still into social distancing. I keep face masks in the car for use as appropriate.

Unless my primary care physician or cardiologist suggest otherwise I’m done

Yes. I was secure enough in my own judgement that I was willing to bet my own LIFE on it... sadly most "men" today lack the courage to do this. I was proven correct in my judgement which took into account my age, health, medical history, etc. I got covid eventually and was moderately ill for three days then fully recovered.

Do you wear a seatbelt when driving or riding in a car, knowing that a tiny fraction of those who wear a seatbelt and get in a wreck die from the seatbelt and a not-to-tiny fraction are injured from the seatbelt?

I wear a seatbelt when driving and a pfd when sailing because these are sensible things. (And a P100 biological cartridge half face respirator at the height of covid.)

Now, metaphorically, a seatbelt equates to a mask, not the covid injection... it is tried and true and mitigates risk but is not guaranteed to save a person.

The covid injection equates to... If the government were to pour billions into the pockets of auto makers to install an "antigravity airbag system" into cars that don't really work and were never actually properly tested.
