My reasons weren't political. They are based on a thorough reading of scientific papers and the data that shows I'm not at risk of serious illness from Coivd.
That makes you one in a million bud. Good on ya. Many of my chums made that same statement which I found laughable. And one person wasn't a Trumpet[!] and she didn't get sick while both of her < 30 adult children were hospitalized.
When I caught Covid and tested positive I stayed isolated and very much doubt I passed it onto anyone else.
That doubt and 5 bucks gets you a large mocha frappuccino at Starbucks.

Sadly, I think this is probably true.

I have no doubt that you were able to find plenty of reading material that assured you that you were not at serious risk of illness from Covid.

You can also find reading material that claims that Ivermectin is a highly effective prophylactic for Covid, and then ignore all the data that proves otherwise.

At the risk of changing the topic, we have images from the Apollo program which show that the world is round.

Well I proved I wasn't at serious risk from Covid. Oddly enough my vaccinated friends have had it worse and some now have had it twice or more.

I've never promoted Ivermectin as a prophylactic for Covid. I've also never lied like many on here and Fauci by labelling it just a horse dewormer. To do that would be unjust to the 100's of millions of lives that have been saved from serious illness caused by parasites. I suppose you don't recognise that there was research prior to Covid that showed Ivermectin had anti-viral propertie. Nor think about the synergy between parasites and viral infection.

Nope all that doesn't fit with your big pharma narrative which let's face it is all your health treatments are based on. Are you a Doctor or a Pharmacist?

Not one in a million but like most on here you wouldn’t understand statistcs.

What were the under 30's co-morbidities?

Which about sums up your understanding of the pandemic.

Yes, your youth makes Covid less deadly - yet still 13x the death rate compared to vax'd & boosted - let alone the benefit to the population from adding to herd immunity.

However there is plenty of reading material claiming it is a prophylactic for Covid. That was my point. I'm glad you agree that those claims are not justified by any scientific methodology.

I've also never lied like many on here and Fauci by labelling it just a horse dewormer.
It is more than just a horse dewormer...BUT....it is a very important and effective treatment for parasites in horses including : pinworms, hairworms, large-mouth stomach worms, lungworms and intestinal threadworms. So it is certainly a proven horse dewormer.

Fauci is more knowledgeable than most people on this forum about drugs used for tropical disease and so he would never state that it is ONLY a horse dewormer. I am not making a case for or against Fauci's service to his nation, but only saying that he would never have claimed that Ivermectin is only used for deworming horses .

Ivermectin is also used in smaller doses for deworming people, most notably in the treatment of
onchocerciasis (aka River Blindness) . I probably know more than most about this. It is a superb anti-parasitic.
I suppose you don't recognise that there was research prior to Covid that showed Ivermectin had anti-viral propertie.
I am indeed familiar with that research. Ivermectin showed some anti-viral properties in vitro (ie in the test tube)with extraorinary high dosages. However when the researchers studied ivermectin against the same virus in vivo (in animals or humans) it failed to demonstrate effectiveness.

When Covid arrived, a number of studies were circulated claiming Ivermectin had anti-viral properties with regard to Covid. Some of these were just plain unscientific but the worst were gigantic frauds, notably the study in Egypt.

I give you credit for discerning this and not claiming Ivermectin can be used as a treatment for Covid.

Nor is it just the data that suggests Ivermectin is not a satisfactory Covid anti-viral....it just doesnt make sense. We know and understand how Ivermectin works. Ivermectin works by paralyzing the nerve and muscle functions of worms and other parasites. Viruses do not have nerves and muscles.

I am confident that Ivermectin in reasonable doses is safe for mammals including humans because the glutamate-gated chloride channels that Ivermectin adheres to only occur in our brains and spinal cord, protected by barriers from any Ivermectin circulating in our blood stream......BUT.....I would never prescribe Ivermectin to infants , and I would never risk massive doses in case those barriers are overcome. It would be an awful death.

Nor think about the synergy between parasites and viral infection.
I'm not sure what you mean by this statement.
Nope all that doesn't fit with your big pharma narrative which let's face it is all your health treatments are based on.
I would estimate that 50% of my work is surgery and yes, I use drugs to make surgery safer. I carefully explain to my patients everything that my team will be using.

The other 50% probably includes drugs. There are several diseases that I still work on where we can alleviate symptoms and postpone consequences but despite all the science we still have not found cures. There are others where 15 years ago, there were no cures on the horizon and there have been miracle break throughs in science, in particular in biotechnology. It is sometime s frustrating that I am aware of breakthroughs that I know I will not be using on patients for another 5 years. Most interesting to me is that, with one major exception, most of the breakthroughs have come from small pharma, not big pharma. That it itself is a whole 'nother discussion.
Sometimes the best treatments have simply been drugs which aid the body in treating itself.....and that is the wonder of modern day biotech.

I half hope you appreciate a serious answer to your questions.

I wont hold my breadth.

What relevance is March 2022?
Wow I must be very very lucky to.dodge the 13x deadliness! Still contributing to.herd immunity and at a more reliable level than the vaccinated.

Interesting paper. Seems vaccines are actually fuelling the evolutionary development of variants rather than diminishing them.

...prevailing Covid variants can be quantitatively
explained by infectivity-strengthening and vaccine-escape (co-)mutations on the spike protein RBD due to natural selection and/or
vaccination-induced evolutionary pressure. We illustrate that infectivity strengthening mutations were the main mechanism for viral
evolution, while vaccine-escape mutations become a dominating viral evolutionary mechanism among highly vaccinated populations.
