That sounds awful! Just terrible!

Good thing it's not true.

Well if anyone had any lingering doubts about your scientific/medical posts, #3 in your list settles it. Thanks for providing your petard.

It's not my job to know where it came from or convey public info about diseases. Maybe it's yours but for me makes no practical difference.

All but the million plus who did die. Not to mention likely 10 million worldwide along the way to natural immunity. Obviously you will get natural immunity from infection if you survive the infection, we and all mammals and many other vertebrates have been doing that for millions of years. But that's an unfortunate way to get immunity. We have an improved way to gain immunity without the risk of death from infection, and it is called vaccination.
shhhhhhhh, we've got a heard culling operation going on here.. I just talked to the lab, they're sure the next round will get them ;)

What "experimental" vaccine has been trialed on over 300 million people?
The EUA (Emergency Use Only) mRNA 'vaccine'

OK, so we know that your knowledge of immunology is nonexistent. Your knowledge of microbiology is nonexistent. Your knowledge of sailing is unproven.

Now you're demonstrating that your knowledge of statistics might actually be in the negative

Well, I learned in high school biology that viruses existed since the beginning, and those with adaptive immune systems survived, and those who didn't, didn't.

As for statistics, see Samuel Clemmons.

But everyone is an expert on immune systems these days, which is why you're going to explain what T8 antibodies do in three sentences or less.

What I learned is that trolls who go on downvote sprees... or hahaha sprees... don't know jack shit about anything and there is no point in any exchange other than mockery.

Science works whether you believe in it or not. Who exactly is "Samuel Clemmons"? A famous statistician, no doubt? Was he smart enough to avoid a plague?

It's called a 'natural experiment'. Lots of good data. Better in many regards than a trial with radically smaller scope.
I agree, provided that all of the subjects in the experiment volunteered and were informed of the potential risks.

Incorrect

You prefer the volunteers to be misinformed by a never-ending stream of bullshit... like yourself

We all get to play the covid lottery. There are no winnings, just various costs; short illness, longer illness, long covid, death. Over the counter meds, hospitalization, cremation.

All on a long continuum and the risk profile is unique to every individual.

The investments you can make to lower your costs are also clear.

Some folks like Skip go to the casino, hit the roulette wheel and bet on 7. Some figure out the way to minimize losses is to count cards at blackjack, or play poker with the marks.

Unfortunately, we all have to play. Some of us choose to minimize our risk is all. Skip and the elk can’t handle that for some reason. Too bad for Skip.

Not everyone is an expert, but these days it is very tempting for a fragile-ego'd pinhead to claim he's an expert while secretly googling everything. Plenty of examples among you anti-vaxxers.

Here's some info that may help you figure out the immune system, I've done you the favor of screening out disinformation:

However let's not pretend that the playing field is equal. I've explained many times here, how vaccines work on the basic level. I've explained here, many times, the difference between a germ and a virus. You have not, you've only tried to squeal about how much smarter you are than scientists. So start with something easy, using your high-school science: what is the difference between a germ and a virus? How do vaccines work?

And a bonus question: whence comes the assertion that vaccines weaken the immune system?

Do you wear a seatbelt when driving or riding in a car, knowing that a tiny fraction of those who wear a seatbelt and get in a wreck die from the seatbelt and a not-to-tiny fraction are injured from the seatbelt?
When did seat belts morph into an experimental mRNA therapy? Do you wear a crash helmet in your car? Do you wear a mask when you're alone in your car?
